• Travel to Penang by car (PoPo, GongGong, Brian, Erika, and I) for 3D/2N - August 18 - 20, 2013


• Erika likes satay


• Meet up in Penang with Aunt Pat, Aunt Dot, TaiKauFoo, TaiKauMoh, and Tsun Tsun at Cititel Hotel Penang

• Holiday vacation to Pangkor Island Beach Resort (drive south by car, then take ferry from Lumut) for 4D/3N - August 20 - 23, 2013


• Hornbills and monkeys abound at resort


• Erika tries to spend every waking moment at the beach


• Saturday August 24 - PoPo is admitted to Subang Medical for minor cardiac failure, intensive swelling in her body, 10kg over her normal weight, lowered breathing ability


• Fly off Tuesday August 27, 2013 from KUL to JFK, pick up by Gerry

we had stayed at the very same resort like 8 years ago! Just when we went it poured so much we thought we would float away into the ocean!! haha..

Looks like you had a nice time (except Popo's heart failure)! Hope she is feeling better!

Pangkor Island Beach Resort? It was nice and on the secluded stretch, away from the main island strip. I liked that.

The water was so murky though, so even though we paid RM90 for a snorkeling trip, we couldn't see anything, so it turned into a round-the-island boat trip!

I hope PoPo is alright. 5 second analysis, Question Right Sided MI, albeit minor. Avoid Nitrates and optimistically just a regimen of diuretics. Any history of CHF or even COPD? Also, this goes back to August 24th, so I would hope by now she's home and doing alright.

She's been hospitalized another round in late September, with low blood pressure.

No history of COPD or CHF.

She's also very bad at regulating her sugar levels. She has this mentality that if she's "good for a few days" that means "it's okay to eat a whole bar of chocolate", somehow they cancel out.
