delayed opening (pseudo snow day)
Feb. 4th, 2014 05:35 pmSo for this academic school year, we've had four snow days, two delayed openings (meaning school starts at 9:00 AM instead of 7:40 AM), and one early closing (school ended at 11:00 AM instead of 2:40 PM).
Today was another delayed opening. In the middle of Midterm Exam week.
They think because we are expecting sleet and wintry mix during the commuting hours tomorrow, we will have another delayed opening. Again, in the middle of Midterm Exam week.
And Sunday? Another 12-inches, they say. So maybe Monday will be another snow day.
