- Erika's been asking to have her nails painted and I told her she'd have to wait until she's older. Now that she's almost three years old, I bought her two bottles of Piggy Paint (she picked baby blue and purple) and she had her nails painted for the first time in her life! She was so thrilled and felt like such a big girl.
- We received one of those "apply for a credit card" applications with the fake plastic card, which we gave to Erika (top right photo), and she was psyched to own a credit card (it's AmEx and happens to be partially see-through, so peek-a-boo!)
- Brian bought some widgets from A.C. Moore and crafted a necklace for Erika (top middle photo)! She had found that shell on the beach in Delray Beach in Florida, and Brian promised her he'd turn it into a necklace for her.
- Two temporary tattoos on her right arm. My mom hates tattoos and thinks it's terrible to teach her that it's okay to deface your body like this and it'll set a bad example for when she's older, but if my daughter makes it to adulthood without turning to drugs, booze, sex, or a life of crime, and she's a kind, thoughtful, and loving individual-- heck, I did my job! A tattoo does not negate any of that!
- Erika and I hamming it up for the camera. And Erika and Kade. And Erika making funny faces.
- Erika did a watercolor painting titled: "Rainbow circle". It's a gift for her brother, Kade.
- Happy Easter! Eat the ears off the bunny.
