It really wasn't that horrid. It was just like a terrible trainwreck that left me stunned and speechless. I wasn't terribly upset over it, more just shocked at how much drama was involved.
I was imagining Minnie Mouse from your first description of the dress, for some reason, but that is absolutely gorgeous. The two of you really must have been the cutest couple at the party by far.
Oh man, I was imagining something rather different based on your first description. It's gorgeous! You two look so good together. That is so in style right here right now, all the girls with the usual little black dresses are so not appreciated at this year's parties.
