misinterpretations over dinner

Brian: I'm so tired and sleepy, it feels like carbon monoxide poisoning.
Me: Is it carbon monoxide poisoning?
Brian: Nah.
Me: Do we have a carbon monoxide alarm?
Brian: Yeah, it's the big, ugly thing in the hall outside our bedroom door.
Erika: You mean Kade?


Poor Kade! And for the record, I think our dog Kade is neither big nor ugly! (But yes, he lurks in the hall outside our bedroom door, hahah)
