Feb. 1st, 2004 07:43 pmUp till yesterday, B's mom thought that the area code of a cell phone was dependent on where the cell phone was, i.e. if you had a Manhattan "917-xxx-xxxx" cell phone and you took it to central NJ, if anyone was trying to reach you, they'd dial "908-xxx-xxxx" because you were now in the "908" area code.
I'm starting to realize that people have strong opinions about weddings-- very few people are caught on the fence with a "I haven't thought about it"--- specifically how weddings ought to be conducted, and what is considered tacky. So here's my survey because I'm curious:
What do you think is appropriate (i.e. would/did occur at your wedding)-- answer "yes" or "no":
1. Bride and groom smashing cake in each other's face.
2. Bouquet toss and garter removal.
3. Group-dance songs (i.e. Chicken Dance, YMCA, Macarena, Electric Slide).
4. Music you'd hear at a club (i.e. non-sexually-explicit rap/pop/funk nightclub stuff.. instead of regular 60's/70's disco music).
5. Including wedding registry information in wedding invitation.
6. Family members hosting the bridal shower.
7. Where are you from?
