cape cod, i hate you

Went to Cape Cod, MA, for three days. Spur of the moment vacation. It as our worst vacation ever.

- local drivers don't realize you can pass on the right if the person is making a left.
- it rained every day.
- i was stuck in Red Sox fan central.
- i woke up one morning covered in flying ants (and yes, even in my panties).
- we promptly left that lodging, but finding another that was dog-friendly was near impossible (unless we pay $135/night).
- kade destroyed $120 worth of stuff in two hours (teething puppy)-- including leather case for camera!
- brother-in-law was being a dick.

We ended up coming home from the restaurant after I had failed to eat my dinner when I lost my apetite after hearing anti-gay pro-single-white-man-power spew-shit, took one look at our destroyed belongings that Kade still had dangling from his mouth, and broke down sobbing hysterically on the bed. Husband gave me a hug and promptly packed our bags. We got in the car and returned home to New Jersey (ah, good ol' Jersey!) a day early.

Cape Cod is a beautiful place. Where exactly were you at on the Cape? you should come to Boston for real sometime and visit ME :-)

I stayed in Provincetown and then we moved to Truro. I visited Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, Hyannis and Wellfleet. I might be coming up to Boston maybe Nov 20.. still working on my calendar... and yes, seriously, I'm going to visit you.
