Yesterday, for the first time, Kade caught a ball.

(Before then, I'd throw the ball at him, hit him on the nose, and he'd give me this stunned look of surprise as he gnashed his teeth to catch the fallen ball).

For a puppy thats quite an accomplisment! My moms dog is 2 now (yellow lab) and can catch a ball quite well, but if you throw food up in the air, he can't catch it. Its quite amusing at his lack of coordination when it comes to small things.

LOL - for some reason that reminded me of the scene in Howard Stern's movie where he was throwing the frisbee to a mentally challenged person.
I hated to laugh, but damnit it was funny. :\

Now that you say it, it does remind me of that. I was throwing him food (and laughing hysterically) the other day and my fiance was yelling at me telling me that I was being cruel, but he was laughing too so I guess it all evens out! LOL
