I'm torn - I always thank the student verbally and usually give them a holiday card for a holiday gift, but I got a few gifts from parents as I was leaving last week and I'm already locked out of the online system so I don't have access to their addresses anymore. I did e-mail or see the parents and thank them, though, and of course I thanked the students as well.
